Back from New Orleans

What fun I had. What a lot of walking I did! I have many blisters to show for it. It was great to actually sleep through the night and not wake up to panic attacks during the night. I told my sister this and her response was, "your here, you have nothing to do but enjoy it." Enjoy it we did!

We toured the French Quarter. Wow! The houses were very cool. We ate and ate and ate a variety of food. I didn't feel bad for eating all the bad food because we were walking for about 2-2-2 1.2 hours a day! Thank goodness my sister brought extra shoes and that we are the same size!

The garden district was great too. We took a trolley there that day. It was too far to walk, though walking around in 3 digit heat index was a tad much for me. We enjoyed our last night there doing what we do best ~ knitting! YES! I finished one sock of a pair and I LOVE LOVE LOOOOOOOOVEEEEE the way that it fits and feels! I started the second one on the way home and it is almost done. I am leaving for NC in the am. House hunting~ sigh~ I hope this goes good???
